Your surroundings matter when you spend the day doing your yoga practice, study, and yoga learning. At Bali Yogshala, the accommodation gives students a relaxing place to recharge between classes. The accommodation has a peaceful setting with a relaxing touch of Bali’s nature.
Our rooms are kept simple, clean and practical enough for a longer stay. We have attached washrooms, private terraces, spacious bathrooms, garden views, air conditioning, seating areas and Wi-Fi so our students can enjoy the comforts of everyday living, but not at the expense of the simplicity of their yoga experience.
Our accommodation includes practical facilities to make your stay easy and comfortable:
Bali Yogashala is located close to Keramas Surfing Beach. This is convenient for students to visit one of the more well known Surf spots in the area. Ubud can also be accessed from the school, as well as the nearest Airport Ngurah Rai International. Our location helps students focus on their training while allowing them to some of Bali's popular destinations.
Good food becomes especially important during yoga training, when your days involve regular physical practice, study, and meditation. At Bali Yogshala students are provided with vegetarian meals made with fresh and local ingredients.
The meals here are prepared with a sattvic view to maintain food that is simple and in alignment with the daily yoga practice. It is not about making meals with a lot of components. It is about freshness, a balanced meal, and mindful eating. Herbal tea, juice, and warm water are also available during the stay.
Meals are also one of the few times during a busy training day when everyone can simply sit together. Away from the yoga mat and classroom, students can talk, share their experiences, and get to know people who have travelled from different places to follow a similar path. This sense of community often becomes an important part of the overall experience. Simple conversations over breakfast or dinner can help students feel more at home and connected during their stay.
The way you eat can also become part of your yoga practice. Eating slowly and meditatively, being present as you notice the elements of your meal and experiencing the impact different foods have on you, are just some of the ways to be mindful throughout your day. Bali Yogshala values your time and presence throughout your training and hence, focuses on providing the appropriate facilities needed during your training, to aid you in your practice, while being mindful of not disrupting your focus during your commute and accommodation. This is done by providing you with peaceful, comfortable rooms and a fixed menu of fresh vegetarian food to help you adjust to your new routine of daily practice. This combined effort creates the perfect environment to learn and practice with utmost focus during your stay in Bali.
